Drug Transporters: Report from the International Transporter Consortium; Decisions, Impact and Future Directions

Abstract: The International Transporter Consortium generated a white paper which was published in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery in March 2010. The group was comprised of experts in Drug Transporters and Drug Development from academia, industry and the FDA. The presentation will provide some insights into the genesis of the consortium, its goals with a discussion of the outcome. The ITC is actively requesting feedback and this will provide an opportunity for open discussion.
